Just like any other girls, my biggest dream is to walk on the aisle with the love of my life waiting at the other end of the altar! I don't dream of an ambiguous wedding. I want it magical but simple to save us from rainy days. I went from scratch, sloped down from trial and error then went back to the drawing board all over again. Planning on such is never easy, it takes time and a full load of patience to have everything fall into places. I am just really glad that there are kindhearted people who are really willing to extend their help. A friend of mine introduced me to a small group of church singers THE CORE CHORALE. I was totally wrong when I thought of small group coz I did listened to a few of their masterpiece, and I was absolutely astound of how heavenly and beautiful their voices were with overpowering wonder of surprise, I can't believe my ears! I will definitely let them sing on my big day. So I am sharing this information to those soon to be bride who are looking for church singers to sweep you off your feet on your wedding day.

Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) aftermath, Philippines 2013
Just a week ago
Visayas was strucked by typhoon Yolanda,
the strongest storm that hit the world in history, even stronger than
hurricane Katrina that killed thousand lives in United States of America on
2005. Hurricane Katrina had a strength of 205 kilometers per hour with 1,833
plus casualties while Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) had a fierce force of 315
kilometers per hour sustaining 11,000 fatalities and still counting! Few days
before it happened, people of the Visayas region were warned by PAG-ASA of the threat
of heavy rain fall, flash floods, landslides and storm surge. The latter part
was not clearly emphasized; people from Tacloban City expected only a rise of
the sea level but not a TSUNAMI of some kind. Everything in Leyte, Bantayan,
Eastern Samar and Tacloban City were thoroughly washed off!
Primary structures, distinguished establishments, historical
landmarks, public places and utilities, hospitals and government offices were
completely vanished! Corpse were scattered everywhere! Literally everywhere,
bodies on the shore, roads, buildings, even smashed by debris and fallen
structures! The pass on of the reliever is really slow! THEY NEED HELP! They
struggle for food and water. They are not looters as what others name them,
because if they were, they would have sneaked in to factories and buildings for
their own good but they went beyond their limits to feed their families and
keep them alive. They merely had no choice.
Social media has been flooded with hate massages blaming the
government for being corrupt, taking advantage of the situation, asking taxes
to foreign military and first aid responders for the relief goods to be handed
over to the people. It shouldn't be that way. The United Nations are freely
extending their help, Filipino's should be thankful for that alone. THEY NEED
HELP, a lot of them are very hungry, utterly helpless, barely breathing and at
snail's pace of dying! Thousands are badly injured, totally damaged and deeply
traumatized! Many lives were lost and children's future is at stake. Could you
just imagine how they sleep at night with an empty stomach, aching wounds and
broken hearts while lying beside the dead body of their loved ones? It's
terribly horrifying!
Yes, Help has arrived with the aid of all of the countries
sending their love and helping hands to assist the Filipino's but it will take
time, a long time to restore what has been destroyed or maybe it will never be
restored. I pray that the Philippines will be healed. Step aside the political
issues and everyone should work unitedly to reach a common goal. THEY NEED HELP
to uplift their spirits to keep them going, so LET'S HELP THEM and I say
instead of posting pictures of dead people, destructive images and complaining
of corrupt government, I encourage everyone to donate and do relief campaigns
and restoration programs, little by little it can be done. Remember, nobody
wanted this to happen. Nobody!

Whale Shark "Butanding" Watching !
Last year I posted pictures of my
friends tripping at Oslob Cebu, venturing the most popular “Butanding” Whale
Shark Watching. I waited a year to experience it myself with my family. It was a
blast and it was the first time I submerged into the waters with fishes bigger
than I am. A lot of tourists from different places were there to witness the
amazing Butandings. It was a splendid experience for first timers like me !
Getting there is not that hard at
all. It is just a matter of a bus ride from South Bus Terminal, take the safest
Bus Liner (Ceres Bus) heading to Bato, Oslob and note the barker and they’ll
drop you right where you are headed.
For those who just want to do Whale Watching,
it will cost you only 100 php. For those who want to go snorkeling, the price
is only 300 php. Oxygen tank for divers are also available at 1,500php.
Cottages are rented roughly from 300-500php. Bringing of foods and drinks are
allowed.
So I’m going to show you some pics we took during our trip! Enjoy!

The Whale Shark "Butanding" Experience at Oslob Cebu Philippines
This is a sample pic of my good friends having their great time at Oslob while I was left at the hospital working >,< I was made to sacrifice a whole day of fun and adventure! It was my fault anyway forgetting to request for an off from work. So technically I was left behind.
Threy took a road trip from Naga to Oslob with the aid of Charlene's guy friends. Guided with the signage Whale Shark Watching , "The Ultimate Experience with the Gentle Giants," they arrived at the resort at Tan-awan , Oslob , Cebu.
I just can't help but to be envy with how the sun rays strikes the blue waters giving it a crystal effect with the BUTANDINGS swimming on it.
As my friend told me they were given brief instructions before they submerge themselves into the waters. None of them knows how to swim so they took the liberty of gripping on each side of the boat. Life vests were provided for each person, so even if you don't know how to survive on the sea, it will keep you floating!
Oh I'm dying to experience this......

Historical places, Cebu City . . Magellan's Cross, Basilica del Sto. Nino, Cebu

Magellan's Cross is a notable landmark found at the heart of Cebu City at the Magallanes street (a street named after Ferdinand Magellan) . It is historical for it was founded by Ferdinand Magellan (Portugese: Fernão de Magalhães), which paved way for the discovery of Philippines. It is housed in a small chapel so as to preserve the place, A sign below the cross claims that the original cross is encased inside the wooden cross that is found in the center of this chapel. This is to protect the original cross from people who chipped away parts of the cross for souvenir purposes or in the belief that the cross possesses miraculous powers. Not far from the Cross is the BASILICA DEL STO. NINO, Magellan's Cross is a Christian cross planted by Portuguese and Spanish explorers as ordered by Ferdinand Magellan upon arriving in Cebu in the Philippines on April 21, 1521.

Not far from the Magellan's Cross is the Basilica del Sto. Nino, it was built exactly where the image of Sto. Nino, the sculpture of Jesus as a black holy Child was founded y Spanish conquistadors in 1565 preserved in a burned wooden box which was left behind during the 1521 Magellan expedition. The festivity of Sto. Nino is celebrated every 3rd week of first month of the year which is known as SINULOG FESTIVAL, where devotees of Sto. Nino from across the world visists the basilica for praise and worship. Cebuanos also celeberates the festival through street dancing offering it to the Black Holy Child.
